Tools: ruler, plumb line

The general rule is to paper “away from the light”, i.e. starting with the ceiling from the window towards the centre of the room. Draw two points in this line approx. 50 cm away from the parallel wall, and mark using the plumb line. This ensures that the next non-woven strips will be straight, even if the walls are not.

Tools: sponge roller | |

Roll out the first cut-to-size strip with the non-woven side facing outwards. Position the non-woven wall covering onto the pasted edge, leaving a slight excess length for trimming at the wall. Align the edges of the
non-woven strips and go over with the sponge roller to remove any air bubbles and wrinkles.

Tools: plastic spatula; razor knife
Press the excess length into the corner of the ceiling/wall join using a plastic spatula and trim neatly by means of a razor knife.
