MAKU non-woven has been specially developed for wall reconditioning purposes and creates a perfect wallpapering base. MAKU non-woven prevents wallpaper seams from bursting open, evens out any tension between the surface and the wallpaper and provides a uniformly bright surface. MAKU non-woven can also be applied quickly and easily to walls where glass-fibre or woodchip wallpaper is still present. |

Reconditioning of glass-fibre and woodchip surfaces

MAKU non-woven can be used to easily transform glass-fibre walls into surfaces ready for wallpapering. Apply filled dispersion adhesive to the glass-fibre surface using a toothed spatula. For an even surface, press the MAKU non-woven evenly into the adhesive using a painter’s spatula. Then paper the Go/Pro non-woven wall covering onto the surface that has been pre-treated with MAKU non-woven. Alternatively, apply the various design techniques directly onto MAKU nonwoven wall covering. |

TIP: | |
|
Irrespective of grain and/or old paint, rough up the woodchip surface using a spiked roller. Use a toothed spatula to apply filled dispersion adhesive to the pre-treated surface, apply the MAKU non-woven and press evenly into the adhesive using a painter’s spatula. Now the Go/Pro non-woven wall covering can be applied. Depending on how uneven the surface is – or how much woodchip grain still remains - we recommend that you try this out on a sample area first! Any slightly uneven patches that may still be visible after using MAKU non-woven are normally rectified once the appropriate textured Go/Pro non-woven wall covering has been applied.
