Wall areas

Tools: spirit level

For rising walls – same as with the ceiling - use a spirit level to

mark a plumb line for the first strip. This ensures that all subsequent strips will be straight.

Position the top of the first strip up to the ceiling with some excess for trimming and adhere to the wall according to the plumb line drawn previously. Go over the non-woven wall covering with a rubber roller to remove any air bubbles and wrinkles.

Tools: wallpapering machine or lamb’s wool roller or pasting brush

Bear in mind that where wallpapering machines are employed, only machine-compatible, “TG” proprietary pastes may be used. In addition to optimum paste distribution, these also ensure that the strips will pass easily through the machine. Saturate the strips of non-woven wall covering with paste and apply without any soak time.

Tools: rubber roller

Align and adhere the edges of the non-woven strips on the wall and go over using a rubber roller to remove any air bubbles and creases.

Tools: plastic spatula, razor knife

In the area around the wall/ceiling and wall/floor joins, press

the excess non-woven into the corner using a plastic spatula

and trim neatly.
