What does A.S. Création produce?

We manufacture wallpaper and edgings in all material qualities and for all application areas. 

On top of that, our decorative fabrics division deals with high-quality decorative fabrics. 

Both product groups deal a lot with furnishing, lifestyle and fashion meaning they complement each other perfectly.

 

 

 

Where is the company today?

 

A.S. Création is the largest and highest-capacity wallpaper manufacturer in Germany.

 

Where does A.S. Création want to go?

 

A.S. Création is endeavouring to become the highest capacity and most profitable wallpaper manufacturer in Europe by 2006.

 

How old (or young) is A.S. Création?  

 

A.S. Création was founded in 1974, making it the Germany’s youngest wallpaper manufacturer.

 

How comprehensive is the product range?

 

We always have about 6,000 different kinds of wallpaper in stock.

What is regularly freshened?

 

Our studio develops over 2,000 new wallpapers per year. 

 

Where is it all manufactured? 

 

We manufacture at two sites, namely in Wiehl-Bomig (we built the world’s most up-to-date wallpaper factory there in 1996 on a greenfield site) and in Gummersbach-Derschlag. Both locations are located about 10 km from each other. The sizes of both sites: a) Wiehl-Bomig = 68,000 sq m b) Gummersbach-Derschlag = 40,000 sq m.

 

 

And what are your logistics like?

 

A.S. Création has the most modern logistics centre in the sector. IIn the completely automatic high-bay warehouse in Wiehl-Bomig there is room for 30,000 palettes; in the recently constructed warehouse in Gummersbach-Derschlag for another 12,000. The unique room-warehouse facilitates fastest possible deliveries (24h service to any point in Germany) and a high degree of deliverability.

 

Who are the A.S. customers?

A.S. Création supplies wallpaper to customers in 56 countries around the world. These are wholesalers and importers, retailers, specialist shops and building suppliers as well as craftsmen.

What is the corporate philosophy?

Wallpapers from A.S. Création provide the opportunity to conjure up a positive living atmosphere simply and economically – for every taste and for every budget.

What services does A.S. Création offer?

We offer our customers the following services, among others: integrated section planning, ship fitting, disposition service, decoration service, individual marketing concepts, 24h delivery, consumer advertising, sales promotions, concepts for POS.

What does A.S. Création do with environmental protection and product safety?

A.S. Création’s products carry the RAL quality mark and, since the beginning of 2011, the mandatory qualified CE mark. To protect the environment and ensure sustainability, we use only water-based inks on our gravure printing machines. Moreover, since 1 January 2010 we have exclusively used FSC®-certified paper and non-wovens. In addition, our PVC-free paper wallpapers have received the Blue Angel eco-label (“Der Blaue Engel”). A.S. Création regularly invests in environmental protection to ensure compliance with all legal and official regulations. We also

invest in modernisation and new technologies which permit a more efficient use of resources.

What brands come from A.S. Création?

If you find wallpapers at dealers with the name „livingwalls“, „A.S. Création“ or „Innova“ you can purchase these products without a moment’s thought – they come from a “good family”.

The same applies to decorative fabrics with the brand names "indes", FUGGERHAUS", "TULIPAN" and "VOLLAND".
